Mobile techology for consulting company

I decided to focus on the new technology consulting company I just started with for my personal WOMM project. Basically, we develop custom web or mobile applications for a variety of platforms, including desktop browsers, mobile phones, and tablets (iPad, Android, etc). Our customers are B2B, and are predominantly well-known brand companies. The plan will be focused on spreading the word in the technology community.

QR Codes:
The basic idea for using QA codes is to use them in printed material or on web marketing. The codes can be set up to provide numerous services to interested customers, including pointing them to a blog on technology topics hosted by my company, to specific applications we develop that might be of interest, or to the company website to see examples of our work. In addition, it would be possible to implement QR codes on the sites or applications we build, directing users to some of the options above.

Mobile App:
My company is considered to be on the cutting edge of technology. We work with platforms, devices, and new technologies that have not yet been released to the public, and so are able to become subject matter experts before many others in the field. This offers us the chance to help educate the public on how these new technologies can be used. I think there may be a market for a free app that people can download that offers advice, tips, and information on the use of technology to enhance consumer businesses.

Texting:
Text marketing can also be implemented to spread our word. Similar to QR codes, users who are interested in receiving information on new technologies could opt-in to receive texts with links to news, examples of new technology, or tips and tricks.
