Our client is Woodinville Whiskey and they specialize in making their own whiskey and vodkas. Their goal is to be the ‘Starbucks’ of whiskey drinkers you could say. There’s a lot of opportunity for mobile technology to be of great use to Woodinville Whiskey (WW) especially in the QR codes and phones .
There’s great opportunity for WW to utilize the QR codes onsite at their facility in Woodinville where they hold tastings and social gatherings. They already have a facebook signup sheet at their tasting site so they could easily incorporate some business cards with a QR code on it allowing people to scan it into their i-phones/smart phones to access information such as their websites and online distribution site for purchasing their products.
Another creative way they could incorporate the QR codes is by actually putting it onto the WW t-shirts they have onsite. By doing this they could have their current customers advertise for them by wearing the t-shirt and then all of their encounters/friends can just scan the shirt for the info. If they are purchasing the t-shirt they obviously enjoy the product and would want to promote it. This would be a creative way of doing it.
