Technology consulting company and Boys & Girls Club

As a consulting company that works in a B2B model, it was challenging to come up with a good cause marketing effort. However, since much of the focus on the WOMM efforts I came up with for the project are focused on educating others about technology, I came up with an idea along these lines. I suggest creating a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Seattle to help provide computer training to the kids who go there. These days, not being able to use technology will drastically hinder your chances of finding jobs, so learning about computers, devices, etc will aid these kids in bettering their future. We could provide training to kids on everything from basic use and understanding of technology, to specific education on how to create software products, websites, etc. At regular times we could host events where the kids could show off their creations, and down the line even offer internships. What a great story it would be to see a kid who knew nothing about computers, works with us in this program, and eventually comes to work for us...
