Part of the ECHO Community Foundation is a memorial scholarship for David Schlosser. David was a good student with an intensity for life and a passion for wrestling. David began flying at the age of 17 and soon after became a flight instructor. His life tragically ended in a plane crash at 23 years.
glassybaby are handmade vases by Seattle artists in 400+ colors and have names like hope, joy, frog hunting and wingman. 10% from the sale of each of the glassybaby in the goodwill collection goes back to a charity. ECHO Community Foundation has created a partnership with glassybaby to feature their wingman design and donate 10% of the sales back to ECHO Community Foundation.
How to create buzz? Feature the ‘wingman’ at charity auctions, work with a restaurant to showcase them for a month a table centerpieces or feature them at upcoming weddings of those who were friends of David. Create a nicely designed table card with a QR code that takes views back to the story of David and glassybaby.
Create a wingman Twibbon. With Twibbon, Twitter users can include a symbol, icon or frame on their Twitter profile pictures. ECHO can create a wingman Twibbon for supporters to use on their twitter accounts to create awareness of the partnership.
